Last night was the beginning of a new Epcot. Not only did we start out the night at the new Epcot Experience but we ended the night with Epcot Forever. The night before that a full crowd said goodbye to Illuminations and a show that’s been at Epcot for years. While the new Epcot Forever is a temporary show until HarmonioUS, it sure brought some new innovative ways to impress.
Epcot Forever opens with a rendition of One Little Spark sang by children. It featured some really cute low spinning fireworks and some fun random streams that brought the nostalgia of Figment.
Figment wasn’t the only loved Epcot theme featured last night. The World Showcase had a few songs represented including the classic American tune Golden Dream. Kites pulled by boats soared around and it was a highlight of the show.
A tribute to Soarin’ was also featured with this fun new technique. It definitely brought excitement over the crowd when the colorfully lit flags sailed over the lagoon. The show ended as it began with One Little Spark pulling together a show filled of Epcot’s Past, Present, and Future.
While we look to the past of Illumnations, and the future of HarmonioUS, Epcot Forever is present and an amazing show to see. It really helps tie in what we know and love about Epcot. I personally am excited for all the amazing things coming to this amazing park.
