"Epcot Forever" To Celebrate Past, Present, and Future of Epcot

The new nighttime show, “Epcot Forever”, celebrates the past, present, and future of the Walt Disney World park.

“Epcot Forever” will debut tonight for the very first time! The new show is designed to celebrate the past, present, and future of Epcot. The show will feature soaring fireworks, moving music, lasers, and colorful glowing kites flying above and around the World Showcase Lagoon.

The show will take guests on a tear-jerking journey as classic Epcot music plays through the park during the show at the end of the night. The show is meant to provoke memories from Epcot’s history and ignite excitement for the park’s future. The future of the park is filled with new attractions and experiences. The multi-year transformation is already underway.

“Epcot Forever” will highlight the original principles of Epcot: innovation, exploration, imagination, and celebrations. Children will sing “one little spark of inspiration” as fireworks boom above. Famous conductor and composer, Don Harper, has produced new arrangements of classic Epcot tunes that will play throughout the show. Epcot’s story will unfold as colorful pyrotechnics fly across the sky.

The Future World pavilions of the past and the present inspire several aspects of “Epcot Forever”. Uplifting music from Soarin’ Around the World will play as LED kites fly across the sky with a kaleidoscopic effect. Guests will also recognize familiar music from Epcot’s past. Keep your ears open for tunes from the “Tapestry of Nations” parade!

During the conclusion, the show will transition from Epcot’s familiar music to a new version of “One Little Spark” to give a nod to Epcot’s future. As the music and fireworks build, “One Little Spark” pivots to a gorgeous finale that will light up the sky with fireworks and special effects for one last time.

“Epcot Forever” will take place into 2020 until Epcot’s next nighttime spectacular, “HarmonioUS” debuts at a later date.
