Royal

Disneyland’s Club 33 recently went through some incredible renovations to dining areas, and new members – only area – Le Salon Nouveau, making it, one of the most sought after invites for Disney Addicts.   As reported by Inside the Magic part of the changes Disneyland also closed off the famous Court of Angels space and turned it into a private entrance to Club 33 (one of the few times, I was disappointed in a Disney decision).   Now,  Disneyland’s “dining and entertainment venue,”  is opening up a new section known as 21 Royal Street.  Originally rumored to be a new restaurant, Disney has now confirmed it will be used for private parties and events.  For now 21 Royal Street will only be available for bookings to Club 33 members and their guests but may open up to the public in the future.  Do I see a wedding vows renewal at 21 Royal Street in my future?   The best news is that the Dream Suite will not be affected by this remodeling for those of us still dreaming of a peek inside.

Club 33

Along with Club 33 and Blue Bayou, Disneyland’s 21 Royal Street will  offer high end dining for up to 16 guests with the sale of alcohol being a big topic for debate among the many Disneyland fans – some who believe alcohol at Disneyland is not necessary.  What do you think?

One thing, Disney fans will not debate is the new entrance to 21 Royal Street which will include a staircase reminiscent of the one previously open to the public in the Court of Angels.

Disneyland continues to be the original and will always hold that special place in so many Disney fans as the park that Walt built, but we can also appreciate the new additions being made to enhance our dining experiences.  My only concern is – how do I get into 21 Royal Street and Club 33 without waiting 3 years and coming up with a huge chunk of money for the membership fees.   Any Club members want to take me along on your next visit.

  1. If it’s only for private events not open to general public, then what’s the problem with them serving alcohol? It’s no different than with Club 33 serving alcohol; regular park guests still won’t be able to buy any.
