Disneyland Park Attraction Height Requirements

I can only imagine a few things more disappointing to a young Disney fan than getting to the front of the line for an attraction they were dying to ride and finding out they don’t meet the height requirements.  Use this list to make sure your little Disney fans know exactly what they can and can’t ride before hitting the parks.  Please note that all riders will be measured prior to entering the ride queue and it is up to the Cast Member to determine if they meet height requirements at the time of your visit.

Disneyland Park:

• Gadget’s Go Coaster: 35 inches or taller
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 40 inches or taller
• Splash Mountain: 40 inches or taller
• Star Tours: 40 inches or taller
• Space Mountain: 40 inches or taller
• Matterhorn Bobsleds: 42 inches or taller
• Indiana Jones Adventure: 46 inches or taller
• Autopia: 54 inches or taller to ride alone and 32 inches or taller to ride with an adult

Disney California Adventure Park:

• Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree: 32 inches or taller and accompanied by a rider 54 inches or taller
• Tuck and Roll’s Drive’Em Buggies: 36 inches or taller
• Jumpin’ Jellyfish: 40 inches or taller
• Radiator Springs Racers: 40 inches or taller
• Silly Symphony Swings: 40 inches or taller to ride in tandem swing and 48 inches or taller to ride in single swing
• Soarin’ Over California: 40 inches or taller
• The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 40 inches or taller
• Goofy’s Sky School: 42 inches or taller
• Grizzly River Run: 42 inches or taller
• California Screamin’: 48 inches or taller
