Disney World Accident & Injury Report for 3rd Quarter of 2022
The Disney World accident & injury report for the 3rd quarter of 2022 has been released. Each quarter, Florida theme parks submit an incident report to the state of Florida as part of their regulation process. These reports detail incidents that resulted in hospitalization for 24 hours or longer.
The third quarter of 2022 includes incidents that happened between July and September. There were six reported accident and/or injury incidents in that time period.

In July, a 47-year-old man passed out “after experiencing the green side” of Mission: Space in Epcot.
Last month a 27-year-old woman went into labor after exiting the Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom.
An 83-year-old man was ”briefly unresponsive” on Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in September.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios last month a 59-year-old woman “sustained injury to toes” on Alien Swirling Saucers at Toy Story Land.

The worst incident reported this quarter is an 83-year-old man who died after riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom. The man had a ”cardiac event” and passed out on the attraction. He was taken to Celebration Hospital, where medical staff tried to save his life for 30 minutes, but he sadly passed away.
