Disney Springs in Oralndo’s Walt Disney World Resort is set to reopen just days from now. The epicenter for all things shopping, dining, and entertainment is planning for a partial reopen starting May 20th. Guests can expect quite a few changes to their experience. Also, in need of a change, is the west side Disney Springs Starbucks.
The Disney Springs Starbucks recently filed a permit with the state of Florida. This permit for a remodel of the establishment was just filed this May 5th. The contractor set to work on the project has a great working relationship with not only Starbucks but Florida as well.
This announcement comes to us not long after Disney Springs shared their big announcement. Disney Springs will be the first of the Walt Disney World Resort to begin partial openings amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Some restaurants in the area are already taking limited reservations to comply with social distancing.
It is unclear if Starbucks will be one of the establishments to begin a partial opening due to the upcoming remodel. It is also unclear what’s in store for this renovation. The Walt Disney company is watching closely on how recent resort updates are unfolding; especially, when it comes to Shanghai Disneyland‘s recent reopening. This will pave the way on further openings for the Disney Parks and Resorts here in the United States.
As we wait for the parks and resorts to opening, Disney Springs has become somewhat of a guiding light for the company. To see how successfully the remodel and reopening of the Starbucks and other establishments will show the bright future of Walt Disney World.
