🚗 A New Cars Attraction Races into Magic Kingdom
Start your engines—Lightning McQueen and the gang are about to zoom into Magic Kingdom! Imagineers are developing a high-speed rally race experience, blending fast-paced racing with off-road terrain.
To perfect the ride’s mechanics, the team tested ATVs on different terrains before designing a custom track system with a motocross expert. Unlike previous Cars attractions, this one will focus on thrilling elevation changes, sharp turns, and unexpected bumps, giving guests the sensation of real off-road racing. Expect high-speed adventure mixed with Disney storytelling magic when this attraction officially joins the Magic Kingdom lineup.
🚪 Monsters, Inc. Door Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hold on tight—because you’re about to get launched into the chaotic door vault of Monstropolis! Inspired by the iconic door chase sequence from Monsters, Inc., this brand-new coaster is taking shape at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Imagineers have designed a suspended roller coaster, allowing guests to feel like they’re soaring between the doors with Mike and Sulley. The ride will feature a unique launch mechanism, mimicking the thrilling moment when doors are snatched up and shot into the vault.
What’s more, multiple coaster trains will zoom through the vault at once, creating the illusion of a never-ending chase—making this a first-of-its-kind experience at a Disney park!
🦸♂️ Stark Flight Lab—A New Avengers-Themed Experience

Calling all recruits! A new Marvel attraction, Stark Flight Lab, is in development, allowing guests to test Tony Stark’s latest flight technology.
This ride blends two never-before-combined ride systems to create the ultimate Iron Man flight simulation. Guests will board a transport system, enter the Stark Lab, and then dock with a robotic flight simulator that lets them experience what it’s like to soar like an Avenger.
With 12 synchronized robotic arms, the attraction will be a technical marvel, offering an interactive flight unlike anything Disney has done before. And for the first time, the technology won’t be hidden—guests will see the mechanics in action, making them feel like they’re part of Stark’s latest experiment.
👻 Haunted Mansion’s Influence Lives On

Imagineers also took a nostalgic look at the legacy of the Haunted Mansion and its game-changing ride system, the Omnimover. Originally designed to control what guests could see and experience, this technology paved the way for attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which takes ride immersion to new heights.
Imagineers hinted that new Omnimover-inspired innovations will play a role in upcoming attractions, allowing Disney to further control motion, visuals, and storytelling in groundbreaking ways. Could we see a new dark ride in the works? Only time will tell!
