Disney Cruise Line Updates Carry On Alcohol Policy and Reduces Corkage Fees
Disney Cruise Line is rolling out an update to its embarkation alcohol policy across the entire fleet. Beginning with sailings departing on June 3, 2026, guests will face a tighter restriction on the amount of wine they can bring onboard, though the line is also introducing a cost-saving break on dining room corkage fees.

Tighter Limits on Carry-On Wine
Under the newly revised guidelines, passengers who meet the legal drinking age—21 and older for most itineraries, or 18 and older for round-trip Singapore sailings—will be limited to bringing one bottle of wine or champagne (up to 750 ml) per person at embarkation. This cuts the previous allowance in half, which formerly permitted guests to bring up to two bottles per person.
It is important to note that this update only impacts wine and champagne. The current carry-on limit for beer remains completely unchanged, allowing eligible guests to bring up to six beers (12 ounces or less) onboard at the start of their vacation.

A Price Drop for Dining Room Corkage Fees
While the carry-on allowance is shrinking, Disney Cruise Line is offering a bit of financial relief for guests who prefer to enjoy their personal bottles at dinner. The onboard corkage fee charged when opening and consuming personal wine in any of the ship’s main dining rooms is dropping from $29 down to $20 per bottle.

Strict Luggage Guidelines Remain in Place
Disney Cruise Line reminds all passengers that any permitted alcoholic beverages brought to the terminal must be packed exclusively in carry-on bags or personal hand luggage. Alcohol found in checked stateroom baggage will be confiscated by port security and held until the conclusion of the voyage.
These updated policies will automatically apply to all departures beginning early next month.
