D23: The Official Disney Fan Club once again ignites the Black Flame Candle, presenting an enchanting Sanderson-themed celebration for devotees of the cherished Halloween Classic, right in the heart of Salem. Join your fellow Hocus Pocus fans for the “Spell-ebration” of 30 Years of Hocus Pocus at the historic Hawthorne Hotel, as you are transported to a magical evening at the D23 Black Flame Ball.
Before the nocturnal festivities commence, attendees will embark on a guided walking tour of Salem, exploring the city’s mystical offerings. Alongside the city’s bewitching landmarks and treasures, participants will trace the footsteps (and pawprints) of Max, Dani, Allison, and Thackery, delving into the iconic filming locations from Hocus Pocus. Unless you possess the means to levitate with cleaning tools, there’s no better way to embrace the magic’s origins!
As the moon ascends over this enchanting realm, the D23 Black Flame Ball commences! Reflecting the vibrant Halloween Party depicted in the movie, guests are encouraged to appear in their most imaginative costumes, embodying their inner Sanderson, “Dad-cula,” or even the iconic pointy character! All shall dance into the night, accompanied by live music, delectable fare, tantalizing drinks, and entertainment summoned only once every 300 years!
Yet, as we delve into summoning, a caveat: attendees should brace for the unpredictable repercussions of lighting the legendary Black Flame Candle. Rumor has it that a few enchanting guests are eager to crash this All Hallows Eve Ball, presenting an awe-inspiring spectacle of quintessential chaos and harmonious conjuration.

- Admission to the event requires a membership card and tickets. Membership cards can be physical or digital (found in the D23 App).
- Guests under 18 must accompany a guest aged 18 or older to attend the D23 event.
- Non-attendance by ticketed Members and guests results in forfeiture of their spots, as well as all event experiences, perks, and gifts. D23 Members must be present, or guests will be denied entry.
