I’d go and play on that set any day of the week. You just tell me, I’ll be there.” However, with ongoing writers’ strikes and potential actors’ strikes looming, significant momentum on the project may be delayed.

In the original Hocus Pocus, the nefarious Sanderson sisters were resurrected when a virgin unintentionally lit the Black Flame Candle. In the sequel, Gilbert intentionally recreated the candle, having witnessed the sisters’ magic during his childhood, leading to their return. However, as the story unfolded, Gilbert realized his mistake and played a pivotal role in aiding the teenaged heroes in vanquishing the sisters. This reconciliation paves the way for a potentially more amicable return for Gilbert in the third film.
