Disney is once again giving back to the community via a $125,000 donation to Florida Schools

Walt Disney World Resort has reaffirmed its dedication to education in Florida by announcing a substantial contribution of $125,000 to support school districts across Osceola, Lake, Polk, and Seminole counties. This investment will play a pivotal role in expanding workforce development and early learning student initiatives within these districts.

Tajiana Ancora-Brown, Director of External Affairs at Walt Disney World Resort, emphasized the significance of nurturing future storytellers in the community, stating, “Our company’s essence lies in storytelling, making it imperative for us to support aspiring storytellers within our community. By laying a strong foundation in classrooms, we empower students to pursue their dreams and transform into the individuals they envision.”

Disney World’s commitment extends beyond this singular contribution. The company has long been a steadfast partner of A Gift for Teaching, culminating in the annual Back-to-School Supply Drive. Through this collaborative effort, Disney World and its dedicated cast members have amassed over $177,000 in essential school supplies and financial contributions this summer, reinforcing their commitment to equipping Florida’s students and educators for success throughout the academic year.
