Epcot is currently undergoing a huge expansion project. Now we know another addition coming to the park is a food kiosk in the Italy Pavilion!
A few months ago, the Patina Restaurant Group filed a permit that stated they are set to “Install new food vending building” at 1773 Avenue of the Stars. That is the address for the Italy Pavilion. The Patina Restaurant Group also operates the existing Italian table service restaurants, Via Napoli and Tutto Italia.
Epcot’s Italy pavilion already has a fantastic little gelateria called ”Gelati.” It’s a small kiosk on the outskirts of the pavilion that boasts a lot of flavors. However, the demand for great gelato must be high because a new spot is under construction! It will be called ”La Gelateria.” Walls have been up to obscure the view, but the construction is almost complete. There’s still a lot of progress to be made before the kiosk opens. Maybe that will just give us extra time to dream up our wishlist for flavors: Stracciatella, Nutella, Nocciola…
We don’t know any specific details about the menu, but we’re sure it’ll be delicious! The other restaurants in the Italy Pavilion are guest favorites as well.
