Bring it on, 2020! The new year (and new decade!) already has a lot in store at Walt Disney World. At Disney Springs, in particular, there will be new restaurant openings, new entertainment, new shops (hello M&Ms!), and who knows what other developments have yet to be announced!
Cirque du Soleil has long been a staple at Disney Springs, and in the spring of 2020 they’ll open a new show called “Drawn to Life.” This will be a celebration of Walt Disney’s life and goals as it is a first time collaboration between acrobats, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Imagineering. The show is said to mimic the animator’s drawings come to life, which sounds like the ideal show for a Disney stage! Tickets can be pre-ordered online or by calling (855) 473-7783.
City Works Pour House & Eatery will soon be the newest addition to restaurant options, serving sports bar fare, such as burgers, tacos, salads, sandwiches, brunch, and more, plus over 90 craft brews on tap. This might be the new hot spot for catching whatever game you’re into!
2020 will certainly bring many more surprises at Disney Springs, just as 2019 did. This year saw the opening of The Art Corner, Jaleo, the Disney Ticket Center, NBA Experience, and Ron Jon Surf Shop, to name a few.
What was your favorite development at Disney Springs in 2019? What are you most looking forward to there in 2020? Leave us a note in the comments!
