First Look at the Swedish Chef’s FØØD Kiosk

In a delightfully chaotic culinary takeover, Disney has rapidly transformed the former KRNR The Rock Station food truck into FØØD by Swedish Chef. Conveniently located right in the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this heavily themed snack kiosk is cooking up a storm just in time for summer. Guests can officially grab a bite of the chef’s unique creations when it opens on May 26, debuting alongside the grand grand opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.

In a stunning overnight transformation, the classic KRNR The Rock Station sign was completely removed from atop the kiosk, which had just been surrounded by construction planters a few days prior. The food truck’s old yellow-orange exterior is officially history, replaced by sleek white paneling accented with vibrant blue stripes and bright pink trim.

Peeking through the perimeter shrubs, the Swedish Chef himself can already be seen making his mark on the venue. Distinct line art of the famously chaotic Muppet now decorates the front facade next to one of the service windows, and his likeness is also proudly pictured on the side of the stand.

A brand-new, boldly lettered “FØØD” banner is now visible on the right side of the kiosk, hanging from the very same metal framework that once held the old rock-and-roll signage. While Disney has yet to officially release the full menu for the Swedish Chef’s new culinary venture, they did recently tease a mouthwatering preview image of what looks to be a wild, Animal-inspired specialty churro.

What do you think the menu will be like?
