Good news for Cast Members! They’ll be able to get back to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to ride Rise of the Resistance in the near future. Disney is unblocking Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Cast Members on select weekdays in January and February.
Cast Members still need a park pass reservation to visit any Disney theme park. So, they’ll need to check upcoming weekday availability for Hollywood Studios. A major reason for the prior block is because of crowd control due to the popularity of the new Galaxy’s Edge attractions. Snagging a park pass for Hollywood Studios hasn’t been an option for Cast Members until now.
Another wonderful new ride is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which made its grand debut in March 2020. It’s a first for Mickey Mouse to get an attraction of his own for guests to ride and experience. The new ride is based on the animation and humor of the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts released in the past decade. The ride system is a new type of experience for guests since it’s a first-of-its-kind ride. Between new visuals and a runaway train adventure, guests will be excited to see this new ride in person.
