In a recent interview with CNBC’s David Faber, Bob Iger shares what’s next after his long 47-year career with Disney.
“It’s time for me to have a blank canvas,” he tells David in his interview. He also talks about how change is good and how he is going to spend his time in his retirement.

Yesterday we shared the news how some executives at Disney told CNBC there are already internal wagers at the Walt Disney Company about Iger returning. After this interview, it seems that Bob Iger is really done at the Walt Disney Company is looking forward to what is ahead.
In a separate interview with Variety Bob is noted as feeling melancholy about his decision to leave.
“I’m being resolute about it — this time around. I haven’t once second-guessed it or hesitated,” he tells Variety. “It’s bittersweet. I’m going to miss people, and I’m going to miss the creative process.”
