Recently, Sony Executive Producer Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige sat down with The New York Times to discuss the future of the Spider-Man franchise after the raging success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. When asked about the potential for more Tom Holland led Spider-Man films or other Spider-Men joining the MCU, Sony Pictures Executive Producer Amy Pascal shared with The New York Times:

“We’re producers, so we always believe everything will work out. I love working with Kevin. We have a great partnership, along with Tom Rothman, who runs Sony and has been instrumental, a great leader with great ideas. I hope it lasts forever.”

Feige added that Sony and Marvel are “actively beginning to develop” more Spider-Man films featuring Tom Holland. Reportedly, Sony Pictures has also expressed interest in developing their own Spider-Man films featuring the return of Andrew Garfield. Potentially, in the same universe as the Venom films.

Earlier in 2021, it was revealed that originally Sony and Marvel had been developing three trilogies following Tom Holland’s Spider-Man with one set in high school, one in college, and one as a career-driven superhero. After seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home it is clear that we are moving on from Peter’s time as a high school student and into his new endeavors.

Are you excited for more Spider-Man films? Would you like to see more films starring Tom Holland or Andrew Garfield (or both???)? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. This is a developing story, so be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for updates and all things Marvel!
