Aerial view of the Moana Journey of Water Construction in Epcot. There are a lot of changes going on at DIsney’s EPCOT right now. Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is doing Cast Members previews. Connection’s Cafe and Eatery are soft openings. Walls are coming down and pathways are reopening. Except in the center of Epcot.

Moana’s Journey of Water construction continues to move along. We got to ride the monorail this week and bring you some updates. First, they are putting some facades up around the Seas side of things, along with verticle structures getting taller. You can see how the outline of most of the buildings or gardens or water features is going to look. Check out all our images and video below.

The attraction, Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, was announced in 2019 and according to Disney officials it will be the “first-ever experience inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit film [and] will let Guests interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.”
