All-New Connections Eatery in Epcot Dining Review. Yesterday was a good day for DIsney food lovers, and also, a good day for people who like new stuff at Disney. Walt Disney World resorts announced that Connections Eatery and Cafe will officially open on April 27, 2022. Prior to the grand opening, Disney will be doing soft openings at any time. Yesterday was a soft opening of both the Cafe and the Eatery. We got to eat and drink a few of the newest menu items.

First, let us start off by saying the new space is huge and beautiful, and there were some very nice touches throughout our whole meal. Like real silverware, and a real straw for our shakes. Secondly, the menu is top-notch with great choices. Choices that include fresh salads, burgers, pizza, and desserts that are made to order and you can actually see them making the food.

Below you will find our dining choices. Our verdict right now is this could be the best “Fast Casual” aka quick-service food at Walt Disney World Parks. It feels like Disney put some thought into healthier choices and some eclectic flavors that suit the EPCOT vibe. We will be trying the rest of the menu over the next coming days and will report back on our findings. As it stands, Go! Try the new menu and let us know what you think. We say YES!
