ABC Cancels Game Shows Such as Alec Baldwin’s ‘Match Game’, ‘Card Shark’ and More

ABC has begun structuring the upcoming television schedule for the summer and several game shows have reportedly been cut from the programming. Game shows such as Alec Baldwin’s Match Game, Card Shark, The Hustle, and Celebrity Dating Game are not expected to return to the network.

Though several outlets speculate the reasoning behind the cancellations, a primary factor is viewership from the most recent seasons and some shows on the chopping block have already been out of production for over a year due the COVID Pandemic.
