Second Attraction Revealed at D23 as Miss Fritter Ride for Piston Peak at Magic Kingdom

With the official Piston Peak National Park scale model now on display at D23, new details have emerged regarding the second ride coming to Magic Kingdom’s upcoming Cars-themed expansion. The family-friendly attraction will be themed to Miss Fritter, the fearsome demolition derby queen and fan-favorite school bus from Cars 3.

A Family-Friendly Spin Through Piston Peak

While Disney previously teased that the land’s secondary attraction would be tailored toward younger guests and families, the model layout provides a much clearer picture of the ride mechanism.

The attraction appears to utilize a rotating turntable flat-ride system similar to Cars Race Rally at Disneyland Paris. Guests will board vehicles that slide, spin, and weave between rotating turntables, offering a lighthearted, family-friendly spinning experience set within Miss Fritter’s world.

Bringing the Thunder Hollow Demolition Derby to Life

Miss Fritter, known for her reign over the Thunder Hollow Speedway with her razor-sharp stop sign and signature smoke stacks, brings a high-energy demolition derby vibe to the national park setting. The attraction styling on the model features mud-splattered details and racing elements fitting her iconic look.

Completing the Piston Peak Lineup

This newly revealed Miss Fritter attraction complements the land’s headlining off-road rally race ride. While the main rally attraction takes guests on an intense, high-speed trek through mountain trails and rugged wilderness obstacles, the Miss Fritter ride ensures the land offers an approachable option for younger parkgoers and families.

Along with the two attractions, Piston Peak National Park will feature Ranger HQ, a central visitor lodge, rustic trails, and an original car character named Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore.
