Miguel Statue Revealed for Upcoming ‘Coco’ Attraction at Disney California Adventure

Disney fans just got another colorful peek at the upcoming Coco attraction headed to Disney California Adventure, and this latest detail puts Miguel front and center.

New artwork tied to the Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event appears to reveal a statue of Miguel holding his guitar at the entrance to the new attraction. The image shows the Casa Museo de la Familia archway, which is expected to serve as the entrance to the Coco ride, with Miguel standing just beyond it.

The detail was spotted on artwork featured on a Pavilion Collection T-shirt created for D23. While Disney has previously released concept art showing the attraction’s festive entrance, the Miguel statue was not clearly visible in those earlier images. The new artwork gives fans their best indication yet that the beloved Coco character will greet guests as they enter the experience.

The upcoming Coco attraction will be part of Disney California Adventure and is expected to bring the colorful world, music and family-focused story of the Pixar film to life in a brand-new ride experience.
