Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique cast members got the surprise of their life when they got a visit not only from the Fairy Godmother but the Godmother of Soul herself Patti LaBelle.
Patti LaBelle is an American singer, songwriter, and actress known for her hits like “New Attitude” “If You Ask Me Too”, and “On My Own” with a career that has spanned over four decades.

The legendary singer and Fairy Godmother shared a magic-filled moment in front of the iconic tile mosaic inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. LaBelle also came to Walt Disney World to enjoy the Celebrate Soulfully programming. She has visited with her family on several occasions and has performed for guests at Disney parks multiple times in her career.
Patti LaBelle just recently performed at Universal Orlando for their Mardi Gras Flavors of Carnaval Festival.
Celebrate Soulfully
Disney created the Celebrate Soulfully initiative as a way to provide guests of color with a cultural experience that will make them feel included and represented throughout the Disney Parks, products, and experiences.

Disney has also brought in other African American celebrities like Chef Carla Hall from the Best Baker in America, and the Holiday Baking Championship to help promote the Celebrate Soulfully Campaign.
