Disney Wish will be delayed arriving in Port Canaveral due to Hurricane Nicole

“Since we departed Port Canaveral, we have been closely monitoring Tropical Storm/Hurricane Nicole. The storm is forecasted to move through parts of Central Florida later today and tomorrow. Also, the
port in Port Canaveral is currently closed.

We anticipate that the port will re-open (on Friday) once the Coast Guard has determined that the port is safe for cruise ship operations. Given these conditions, and our desire to remain a safe distance from the storm, our arrival in Port Canaveral may be delayed on Friday morning.

Therefore, we recommend that if you have a flight before 3 p.m. on Friday that you consider working with your airline to depart later. Guests with Disney Cruise Line air arrangements will have their revised
airline flight schedules delivered to their stateroom. We understand that many airlines are currently waiving change fees for flights in and out of Orlando International Airport.

Each stateroom will receive a basic surf complimentary internet package to make any necessary travel change requests. Guests may also visit Guest Services for assistance in making the call to their air carrier if needed.

We will continue to keep you updated regarding our arrival in Port Canaveral.”

This is the 2nd storm this year to cause closures and delays for Disney. We hope everyone stays safe during this storm and that no major damage is caused!
