Liberty Square Riverboat closing for refurbishment later this month

The Liberty Square Riverboat in Magic Kingdom will be closing later this month for a refurbishment. The attraction will close on August 22nd and reopen in early September.

The Liberty Belle gives guests a scenic cruise of the Rivers of America. Along the way, listen to a recorded narrator—in the voice of iconic American author and humorist Mark Twain—sharing memories of Twain’s time on the Mississippi.

The Liberty Square Riverboat underwent a brief refurbishment around the same time last year so this closure is likely for regular maintenance. The attraction will reopen to guests starting September 2, 2022.
