Release Date Announced for Hallmark’s Disney World Christmas Movie “Holiday Ever After”

Hallmark Channel has officially confirmed the release date for its upcoming Countdown to Christmas feature, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True. The original film, shot entirely on location across the Walt Disney World Resort, will premiere on Saturday, November 28, 2026, with next-day streaming available on Hallmark+.

Filmed on Location Across Walt Disney World

The historic collaboration marks the first time Hallmark has filmed an original movie on site at Walt Disney World. Production took place across key resort locations, including:

• Theme Park Backdrops: Filming wrapped earlier this year with scenes captured at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and surrounding resort property.
• Resort Accommodations: Lead actress Lacey Chabert stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge during production, which spanned nearly a month on location.
• Retail Tie-Ins: Alongside the broadcast release, Hallmark Gold Crown stores and online retailers will launch a complementary line of themed greeting cards, ornaments, and gifts.

Cast and Plot Details

Written and directed by Ryan Landels, Holiday Ever After follows Lindsey (Lacey Chabert) as she travels to Walt Disney World for a holiday getaway with her extended family:

• The Storyline: Lindsey’s dream vacation hits a bump when she realizes her resort room is directly next door to Philip (Travis Van Winkle)—a recent first date that went horribly wrong. As their families continuously cross paths across the parks, a little Disney magic helps thaw the tension.
• Supporting Cast: The movie also stars Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander, with a special cameo appearance by Patrick Renna.
