Star Wars Fans will have to wait even longer for Bad Batch Season 2

The Clone Wars spin-off The Bad Batch is reportedly pushed back from its Spring 2022 release date.

For a while, The Bad Batch Season 2 was listed with a “Spring 2022” release date, but in the upcoming issue, Star Wars Insider 209, this was quietly changed. Issue 209 is set to be released on March 15, 2022, but a sneak peek from Redditor BZPJMJ64 revealed that the series is now listed with a different schedule.

Below the “Coming Soon” area is Star Wars: The Bad Batch, where it’s been in the past. However, the previous display of “Spring 2022” is now gone, meaning the second season of the animated series is possibly pushed back into the back half of 2022.

The Clone Wars spin-off debuted with season 1 on May 4, 2021, and stars Dee Bradley Baker as the Bad Batch, an enhanced unit of unique clones, and Michelle Ang as Omega, an unaltered clone made from the pure DNA of bounty hunter Jango Fett. The Bad Batch season 2 has been confirmed for a 2022 release, but its exact premiere date is as of yet unknown.
