It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World and the new holiday treats are starting to arrive. The newest holiday snack to arrive is called “The Tree on Cherry Hill”. Guests can find this fun and festive delight at the All-Star Sports Resort.
“The Tree on Cherry Hill” is a cherry mascarpone mousse dome cake, with a waffle cone tree on to. The tree cone is covered with green buttercream frosting. This was actually a pretty delicious dessert. The cherry mascarpone wasn’t overly sweet or tart. It had a really nice flavor and texture. The Christmas tree waffle cone was a total miss. Obviously the snack needed a festive element but the cone was completely soggy after having been covered in frosting for so long. I would have wished they make the mascarpone dome look maybe like an ornament or something to that effect.
Overall I thought this was a decent choice. It was refreshing to not have another cupcake option. You can find this at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort in their food court. This holiday treat was $5.99 plus tax or a dining plan snack credit.
