Pepe by José Andrés is the newest quick service restaurant at Disney Springs. Located right across from Splitsville Luxury Lanes, the menu features both hot and cold Spanish inspired sandwiches, their own brand of chips, as well as salads and soft serve ice cream. A bright and airy atmosphere, along with a friendly and helpful staff greet you upon entrance.
Hot sandwiches are made to order, while cold sandwiches – such as the Fútbol Club Barcelona, a staff favorite – and salads are prepackaged and ready to go at the counter. Beer, wine, sangria, and nonalcoholic beverages are offered.
We tried the Bikini de Jamón y Queso – a hot, pressed Ham and Cheese sandwich, which had a pleasantly crispy and buttery texture, and flavorful ham with just the right amount of cheese to compliment it. Along with that, we tried the house brand of chips, which were light and crunchy, with a hint of sea salt. A perfect light lunch for a day in Disney Springs.
The quick service restaurant borders Jaleo, José Andrés’ new table service option, and the seating from both sides seemingly merge together to create a cohesive atmosphere. Jaleo has a fun, upscale feel, very reminiscent of swanky 1950’s style with a Mediterranean twist. A full bar is accessible from both sides. A new flavor experience not to be missed!
