A Little Girl Meets the Real Cinderella at Walt Disney World. Just last month I brought you the story of 6-year-old Layla Lester who found “Cinderella” in while on a walk through Akron Falls Park(my hometown) with her family. Little Layla found a bride having her wedding day photos and ran into her arms calling out for Cinderella! The photographer was able to get the whole thing on video and lots of photos. She shared the story on social media hoping to find the little girl and her family. The post went viral and they found Layla within 24 hours of it hitting Facebook. Layla’s story got nationwide media attention and even created the start of a Go Fund Me account that raised enough money to send Layla and her family to Walt Disney World to meet the “real” Cinderella!
Walt Disney made this experience even better by capturing the entire experience for her and her family. They took a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park to receive her very own princess makeover! Next, they went to have a photoshoot in front of Cinderellas Castle for the whole family.
The real magic took place when Layla met Cinderella herself at Princess Fairytale Hall. The video below brings tears to the eyes as you watch the magic happen before you.
