Wreck-it Ralph and Vanellope Debut in Imagination Pavilion at Epcot

Wreck-it Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz went on a wild ride through the world wide web this past holiday season in the hit film Ralph Breaks The Internet. Now they’ve found a home at a new meet and greet space as part of a new “Tech Expo” in Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion.

Guests at Walt Disney World Resort can now meet the video game pals in a new special area inside Imageworks in Epcot. The Imageworks area serves as the exit for the Journey Into Imagination ride and features interactive games and experiences helping kids to explore their imaginations. Disney has now created a meeting space that makes you feel like you’ve joined Ralph and Vanellope on their adventure into the net. Guests can meet the digital duo daily in their new location at the park. There’s even a special themed, giant internet port that the pair enter and exit through, complete with lights and sound effects.

The repurposed section of Imageworks is meant to be a new experiment for a “Tech Expo” hosted by the Imagination Institute featured in the Journey Into Imagination ride. This addition is most likely the first part of other planned new “portals” into other dimensions that will be added to the space later as part of the expo theme. This new meeting area is expected to become a more permanent location after moving the Wreck-it Ralph characters from their previous spot at Innoventions. As always, meetings with the characters are included in your park admission. We will be sure to bring you more on new additions to this space as they develop.
