World Showcase to Host New and Returning Acts as Part of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Musical Acts

If you’re heading to this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, no doubt you’ve heard about all of the amazing acts participating in this year’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series.  But that’s not the only place you’ll find amazing musical talent at this year’s festival.  Each year the World Showcase plays host to an dialectic mix of amazing acts that you won’t want to miss.  Here’s just a taste at some of the additional entertainment options you’ll be able to enjoy during your Epcot visit.

Bodh’aktan – (pictured) A crowd favorite, Bodh’aktan mixes Quebecois, folk and polka to make fantastic rock and dance music. Back from a recent world tour, this much loved band will be performing daily at the Canada Pavilion from October 2 – 22nd.

Suroît – Another musical offering found at the Canada Pavilion, this renowned band is from Canada’s Magdalen Islands in Eastern Quebec.  Their sound is a combination of Cajun, Celtic, bluegrass and rock.  You’ll be able to catch them on the Mill Stage from August 31 – October 1st.


 

Epcot

Margret Almer & The Bavarian Band – World-famous yodeler Margret Almer returns to Epcot this Fall with The Bavarian Band.  You’ll be able to catch her at the Germany Pavilion beginning on August 31 and continuing throughout the Festival and then into the holiday season.

Musique Aramenco – Another returning act, Musique Aramenco will bring to the Morocco Pavilion its amazing fusion of traditional and modern Moroccan music from September 1st and running throughout the Festival and will continue performing into the beginning of December.

Raffy – Yet another fantastic musical act over at the Canadian Pavilion, Raffy will be performing from October 23 – November 26th on the Mill Stage.  A band known for their infectious energy, they have just completed a Canadian tour including numerous radio and TV appearances.

So make sure you include a bit of free time in your Epcot plans to enjoy a few of the amazing musical acts you’ll find performing during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
