Winnie the Pooh Returns to Epcot

Winnie the Pooh

Hide the honey! Our favorite tubby little cubby is back in Christopher Robin’s room! For those who remember, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger were a staple in the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot not many years ago; they were removed with no clue whether we would ever enjoy their meet-and-greet again. But happiness has returned from the Hundred Acre Wood and he is ready for pictures!

Winnie the Pooh Returns to Epcot

Pooh holds his first session from 11:30 AM to 2:10 PM and his second from 3:00 to 6:40 PM. He can be found in Christopher Robin’s bedroom, which is located behind The Toy Soldier shop. The simplest way to queue up is by walking past the Mary Poppins meet-and-greet and gazebo to the row-house at the end of the street.

The setting is everything you’d expect from Christopher Robin’s room: a cozy window seat, a chess game set out next to the child-sized bed, and toy soldiers lined up on a shelf against the wall. It’s a homey place to rendezvous with our favorite silly old bear. The only negative point here is that Tigger is no longer present. He is already greatly missed!

All things considered, Winnie the Pooh is a welcome sight back at Walt Disney World‘s Epcot and we hope this meet-and-greet stays with us for a long time. Now if we can just find a way to get Tigger and some of our other furry friends to join!
