Will the New ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy Resurrect Kylo Ren? According to a scope from The Den of Nerds YouTube channel, one of the new Star Wars Trilogies will reportedly see the return of Kylo Ren and backing up the rumors that Daisy Ridley would be returning to her role as Rey Skywalker. The details on HOW Ben Solo or Kylo Ren would return are murky at best, but many are wondering if this may be a key element in the mysterious trilogy coming from Star Wars: The Last Jedi director, Rian Johnson.

Not much is known about the placement of Rian’s trilogy within the Star Wars universe, but the director has had experience with the sequel trilogy cast that would give him an advantage when working on what will likely be another controversial storyline for Star Wars fans should we see Ben Solo be resurrected for future use. It should be noted that NONE of this is confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm and even the rumors of daisy Ridley’s return are still just rumors, so take this news with a grain of salt until we get any official word from the studios.

Food for thought, this could also be mixed wires or a new approach to the idea for a Kylo Ren spin-off that would showcase Ben’s journey from the light side, to the dark side, and then back to the light side and working with Rey to bring balance to The Force. There is currently nothing tying this story to any of the Disney+ Star Wars series’, but we would love to potentially see a cross-over at some point *(cough, cough)*. Due to their placement in the Star Wars Universe timeline though that outcome is highly unlikely, but hey, a Star Wars fan can dream. I mean, let’s be honest, Rey and Ben under the direction and teachings of an experienced Ahsoka would be phenomenal, but I digress.

What do you think of Ben Solo’s rumored return? Do you think a resurrection would break the continuity of the franchise? Would you like to see a “born again” storyline in a future trilogy? What rippling effects do you think this would have on the Star Wars universe as we know it? We would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions in the comments.
