Walt Disney World Drops Massive Holiday Update with Christmas Dates and Vacation Deals

Christmas is officially coming to Walt Disney World, and Disney just unwrapped a sleigh full of new details for the 2026 holiday season. From festive entertainment and returning holiday favorites to new vacation discounts and special events, guests now have a clearer picture of what awaits during the most wonderful time of the year.

The holiday season at Walt Disney World will officially run from November 13, 2026 through January 6, 2027, bringing seasonal décor, festive food and drinks, holiday merchandise, special entertainment, and character experiences across all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort hotels.

Magic Kingdom will once again host Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios will welcome back Disney Jollywood Nights. Guests visiting Magic Kingdom can also enjoy the return of Frozen Holiday Surprise, holiday décor throughout Main Street U.S.A., and the fan-favorite Jingle Cruise. EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays returns November 27 through December 30, while Disney’s Animal Kingdom will once again feature Merry Menagerie and the Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition. Disney Springs will offer its popular Christmas Tree Stroll, nightly snowfall, live entertainment, holiday shopping, and seasonal food offerings.

Alongside the holiday announcements, Disney also revealed several new vacation deals designed to help guests save on holiday travel. Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program can receive a free Park Hopper option and save up to 25% on select room-and-ticket packages for eligible travel dates this fall and holiday season.

Additional savings are also coming for Disney Resort guests, with discounts of up to 20% available on select rooms for stays through December 24. Florida Residents can save up to 25% on select stays during portions of the holiday season, while Annual Passholders can save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotel rooms. Booking for these offers begins June 25.
