If you are staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian and don’t want to take a boat or the monorail to Magic Kingdom, you can take a leisurely walk instead!
The walkway is set up with fences along the edges as well as lampposts to light the way for guests traveling the walkway in the evening. The path winds past shady trees that could provide cover from the hot sun.
Part of the walkway includes a swing-arm bridge. The path leads up to the new Magic Kingdom Resort Dock.
Guests using the walkway will pass through security screening before entering Magic Kingdom.
Have you been on the new walkway?
