The Magic of Disney Animation Operating Hours Revealed Ahead of September 14 Opening
Disney has posted operating hours for The Magic of Disney Animation ahead of its September 14 debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and guests planning to visit during the attraction’s first few weeks will want to keep an eye on the calendar.

For the opening stretch, The Magic of Disney Animation will largely follow the park’s regular operating hours. The attraction is scheduled to operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. September 14 through 17 and again September 20 through 27. On September 18 and 19, hours shift slightly earlier to 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., matching Disney’s earlier park opening on those dates.
Beginning September 28, however, the schedule changes significantly. The Magic of Disney Animation is currently listed to operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while Disney’s Hollywood Studios itself continues to open earlier and remain open later. That means guests arriving for Early Entry or planning to explore Animation Courtyard in the evening will need to work the attraction into the middle of their park day instead.

The reduced schedule is not unusual for walk-through, character, and theater-style experiences once the initial opening rush settles down, but it is still an important planning detail. The Magic of Disney Animation will be home to Olaf Draws!, Off the Page! character encounters, the Once Upon a Studio Theater, Drawn to Wonderland, and an enchanted art gallery.
