Universal Orlando recently released the name of the new roller coaster being built. VelociCoaster will be opening the Summer of 2021. Since they released the official information they have been getting down to business. Not only have they been testing the track, which we reported was completed, but they have been adding tons of exterior details.
The outside of the coaster is definitely starting to look like a paddock complete with electric fence. You can see it above the construction walls.
They have also done lots of rock work and have started planting greenery. It’s really starting to come together.
The VelociCoaster also has started testing water features. There is a waterfall near the giant rock and the crew was testing it while we were there.
We can’t wait to see this amazing coaster completed. Stay tuned for updates as they come in and we will continue to report on the progress.
