Universal Details Stay & Scream Process for Halloween Horror Nights 35

Universal Orlando is giving fans a clearer look at how Stay and Scream will work for Halloween Horror Nights 35, including earlier access to select haunted houses beginning at 2 p.m.

Guests using Stay & Scream must have valid daytime admission to Universal Studios Florida and a valid Halloween Horror Nights ticket for the same night. Annual and Seasonal Passholders with valid admission are eligible, while other guests can use a Scream Early ticket, which allows entry to Universal Studios Florida beginning at 2 p.m.

The wristband system introduced last year is also returning. Guests can pick up wristbands near Guest Services beginning at park open, with additional pickup locations opening at 2 p.m. near Hogwarts Express: King’s Cross Station and Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast. Wristbands allow eligible guests to remain inside the park and access early HHN offerings without being confined to traditional holding areas.

Three haunted houses are scheduled to open at 2 p.m., followed by select house queues at 4 p.m. and additional houses beginning around 5:15 p.m. Halloween Horror Nights officially begins at 6:30 p.m., when all houses are expected to be open. Universal has not yet confirmed which houses will open during each early-access window, so guests should check the Universal Orlando app on event nights.
