Universal Orlando Announces Fourth of July Fireworks at Epic Universe and Resort-Wide Celebrations

Celebrate the Fourth of July with Fireworks, DJs, and Festive Fun at Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort is ready to light up Independence Day with a full slate of patriotic entertainment across its theme parks, CityWalk, and select hotels. Whether you’re planning to spend the holiday riding coasters, dancing to live music, or watching fireworks over Epic Universe, there will be no shortage of red, white, and blue fun on July 4.

The biggest addition this year comes to Universal Epic Universe, where guests can cap off their day with a special Fourth of July fireworks spectacular over Celestial Park at 9:00 p.m. Before the skies light up, the park will feature a continuous live DJ at the Hemisphere Stage from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., patriotic stilt walkers, roaming performers, and a special Cosmos Fountain show at 10:00 p.m.

Universal Studios Florida will also keep the party going all evening. Guests can enjoy multiple Street Breakz performances, the Universal Mega Movie Parade at 6:00 p.m., and CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular at 9:00 p.m. The Music Plaza will come alive with DJs, stilt walkers, roaming performers, and character meet and greets throughout the night, while Mel’s Drive-In hosts additional live entertainment and a DJ. The celebration wraps up with a brief pyrotechnics finale over the lagoon at 10:00 p.m.

If you’re looking for a party without entering the parks, Universal CityWalk will feature live performances from American Sirens and Hall of Fame on two outdoor stages, plus a live DJ spinning music into the night. Stilt walkers and street performers will keep the energy high throughout the evening.

The festivities extend beyond the parks and into several Universal Orlando hotels. Hard Rock Hotel will offer a backyard barbecue-inspired dining special featuring smoked meats and classic sides. Cabana Bay Beach Resort will celebrate with lawn games, a sunset movie, DJs, and an all-American cookout. Aventura Hotel’s Bar 17 Bistro will serve Fourth of July favorites with rooftop DJ entertainment, while Endless Summer Dockside and Surfside Resorts will feature holiday meal specials, wings, ribs, and festive Bomb Pop-inspired beverages.
