A Troll Horn is a perfect snack to enjoy before or after riding Frozen Ever After. The confection features a sugar-coated cone-shaped pastry shell that fits perfectly in your hand. The shell is filled with cloudberry jam and whipped cream, making this dessert or snack have a light buttery taste. If you are unfamiliar with them, cloudberries are orange-yellow berries and in the same family as raspberries and blackberries.
The cafe is an authentic Norwegian bakery offering many different delicious selections including plenty of sweet pastries. This particular dessert has quite a history at Epcot, with a name change from Cloudberry Horn to Troll Horn and at one time was made with Lingonberry Jam, but the recipe has since been restored to the cloudberry jam goodness.
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is a quick service location in the Norway Pavilion that serves a wide variety of Norwegian pastries, including the well known and favorite of many, a custard filled sweet roll known as School Bread. In addition to the sweets, they serve sandwiches, a Norwegian chef salad, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and other baked goods including sweet pretzels. Viking Coffee is the perfect adult beverage for those cooler evenings. The location has recently been refurbished and is once again open, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a quick snack.
