Disney Files New Adventureland Construction Permit at Magic Kingdom
Disney has filed a new construction permit for Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, and the nearly two-year expiration date makes this one worth watching. The permit, filed September 21, 2026, lists MLC Theming for general construction at 4851 Caribbean Way, an address associated with the Adventureland popcorn cart between Jungle Cruise and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

The address may simply represent the surrounding area rather than the cart itself. MLC specializes in themed finishes, scenic painting, facades, and rockwork, and the company was also recently listed on a Haunted Mansion permit. The Adventureland permit runs through August 31, 2028, much longer than the typical one-year window, though Disney has not announced any specific project tied to the filing. We’ll be watching Adventureland to see what begins taking shape.
