Forget turning pumpkins into horse-drawn carriages! We’re excited about this bibbidi-bobbidi-boo-tiful transformation happening in three Central Florida children’s hospitals!
As many know, just trying to keep people positive when they are battling serious health issues can help immensely in the fighting and recovering processes. That’s why the Walt Disney Company has invested five years and $100 million to give struggling children and their families some Disney magic in their lives.
Three Central Florida children’s hospitals – AdventHealth for Children, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and Nemours Children’s Hospital- will soon be transforming into spaces with interactive play areas and added touches of life-like Disney characters! According to Disney Parks Blog, these are all positive distractions intended to make hospital stays a bit easier.
A team of talented patient care experts and Disney Imagineers are helping to bring all of the magical transformations to life! We are excited about what the Walt Disney Company is completing in the local area and the impact it will make in the lives of many children and their families.
