The Wave serving Breakfast at California Grill while closed for Refurbishment. Starting July 16, The Wave…of American Flavors, located in the lobby of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, will be closed for refurbishment. The restaurant will be unavailable for the summer while it is refurbished in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration. We don’t know exactly what the reimagined dining experience will be at The Wave but it’s bound to be incredible!
Now we have word that you will still be able to get the amazing breakfast. Starting July 16, The Wave… of American Flavors will be closed, as we refurbish this space in time for the 50th-anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort. Dining is still available here through July 15. And, for a limited time during this closure, you’ll be able to enjoy the breakfast menu served at California Grill.

Rumors abound on what will be included in the refurbishment of The Wave, our most reliable source is saying the new decor will feature the history of Disney World for the past 50 years. Relying heavily on photos from the construction of the Contemporary and the Walt DIsney World resort. We shall see in time.
