‘The Mandalorian‘ Season 2 Has Finished Filming According to the Cast. Star Wars fans will be delighted to hear the filming for the hit Star Wars series ‘The Mandalorian‘ has finished filming for season 2. Gina Carano who plays Cara Dune in the series, shared a heartfelt post about wrapping up the second season for the #1 original show streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Gina wrote, “That’s a wrap on season 2.. I absolutely love this work and the people in it.” Along with a photo on set in her costume as Cara.
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is gearing up to be even more action packed and filled with even more enriching storylines from show runners Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau who managed to keep some of the biggest secrets from a galaxy far, far away. It’s anyone’s guess as to what trouble “Mando” and The Child will get themselves into in the new season.
We do know that Moff Gideon, who was revealed in the final two episodes of Season 1, will play a much bigger role in this season and that we will get to see some lightsaber action within the series. The question remains… who will wield the other lightsaber?
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is expected to premiere in October 2020 exclusively on Disney+.
