Tatooine Construction – Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is Really Taking Shape – Construction is moving along. Tatooine, the harsh desert planet orbiting twin suns, located in the Outer Rim. It won’t be long until we are able to walk the streets and enter the shops where Luke Skywalker may have also traveled.
This construction wall is newly up due to refurbishments in some sections of the already-open Tatooine Traders. Pardon the dust, maybe pixie dust, while updates are going on! Be sure to try your hand at building your very own lightsaber in the shop while other sections are undergoing a refresh. From this vantage, guest can see the addition to the existing structure. We are following the building and are looking forward to the enhancements.
Be on the lookout for Tusken Raiders as you travel through this arid land. Perhaps you will make some trades with Jawa? After exploring the streets and taking in the sights you will want to find a spot to have some Bantha Milk.
We are also happy to report that the stage show, The stage show, A Galaxy Far Far Away has returned! The show was temporarily shut down for construction work. Now, in time for a busy holiday season park guest have the opportunity to see some of their favorite characters up close and personal in the live show. Make plans to catch the act. The live show is sure to build your excitement continues to build in anticipation of the coming Star Wars attraction.
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios park in late 2019. We will continue to bring you updates and news as the project progresses.
