'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Hits Another Box Office Milestone

This weekend, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ swung past the $1 Billion mark at the international box office, bringing the grand total to $1.74 Billion in global earnings since its theatrical debut. The occasion also makes Spider-Man: No Way Home the 10tth movie ever to earn $1+ Billion at the international box office.

In even more impressive news, this is with no contribution from China, which has yet to set a release date for the film. To put it mildly, China is one of the top-performing box offices in the world and once the new Spider-Man film makes its debut in Chinese theaters we are likely to see even more record-breaking! Some of the top-earning countries outside of the U.S. include the United Kingdom ($120.1M), Mexico ($74.4M), Korea ($61.5M), France at ($61.2M), Australia ($55.2M), Brazil ($53.8M), Russia ($46M), Germany ($45.1M), India ($36.2M), and Japan ($29.7M).

Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and  Marisa Tomei all reprising their roles from the previous Spidey films, with Benedict Cumberbatch joining the fray as Doctor Strange (but maybe don’t call him “Stephen,” that’s weird). Joining the cast to reprise their roles are Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Macguire. The film is directed by Jon Watts, and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers; the film is produced by Kevin and Feige Amy Pascal, and executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach.
