There was quite a bit of excitement every month as everyone waited for the new theme to be revealed, and even more angst when many consumers were unable to get their hands on the merchandise. The enduring popularity is still visible by the current prices on eBay. Well, the odds must have been in your favor this time because 2022 has seen the revival of the Main Attraction line of merchandise! With one notable change: Mickey is the star this time around!

The Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction line is inspired by a different Walt Disney World attraction every month. January was Space Mountain, and February was Pirates of the Caribbean. Due to shipping issues, the collections have yet to be released in the United States or on shopDisney.com. Currently, the website says that they will be “coming soon,” but has only displayed the January set with other collections still to be revealed. The reason we know anything about items from February and March is that they are being announced and sold on shopDisney UK.

The newest release features The Mad Tea Party teacups. The color palette is very colorful, and heavy on the purple. The collection will feature a plush Mickey doll, pin, key, headband, and Loungefly backpack. The limited release will become available in the UK March 25 in the UK, but there is no news on when it will be sold in the United States.
