See the First Look at Marvel Studios ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘ Series Coming to Disney+. After months of delays we finally have a set premiere date for the highly anticipated series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will return as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes for the new series and are joined by Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent), Daniel Brühl (Baron Zemo), and Adepero Oduye (Sarah Wilson). Not much is known about the series, but there was an order from Marvel Studios for reshoots after the COVID-19 pandemic breakout with rumors siting the changes were due to a parallel in the series was too close to current events taking place in real life.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is one of many new Marvel series slated to premiere exclusively on Disney+. During a special presentation regarding the new series from Marvel, Chief Creative Officer, Kevin Feige shared, “Over the course of the 23 films, we’ve pulled together a roster of amazing actors and talented filmmakers, and we’re excited to continue to work with these individuals to tell new, long-form stories in ways that we’ve never done before. These shows will be on the same level of quality that you’ve come to expect from Marvel Studios, and we’ll be taking advantage of that creative freedom that Disney+ offers exploring the MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with our favorite characters over multiple episodes. Feige continued, “These will be both new and continuing stories, and one of the things we’re most excited about is that these will be major storylines set in the MCU with ramifications that will be felt both through the other Disney+ series we’re producing and our features on the big screen.”
