Samuel L. Jackson Officially Joins the Cast of Marvel Studios’ ‘Secret Invasion’. This week, Samuel L. Jackson confirmed that he is returning as Nick Fury for the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney+ Series Secret Invasion. The confirmation came in a teasing post to Instagram featuring a photo of the iconic facial hairpieces for Fury along with the caption: “Guess what time it is! Back in the box, just in The Nick of time! #rested&readytogo#whoyagoncal“

In the Marvel Comics the Secret Invasion storyline involves a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls, a group of alien shapeshifters who have secretly replaced many superheroes in the Marvel Universe with impostors over a period of years, prior to the overt invasion.
Though Marvel has not released an official synopsis for the new Marvel live-action series, there is no reason to believe the studio will deviate from the original premise, though the details and character identities may be switch around.
